Having orders delivered to your home: can be very easy, but it can also sometimes lead to unpleasant surprises. That is what a British woman claims in a TikTok video that has already been viewed more than 300,000 times.
“All of a sudden the UberEats courier was at my house, without ringing or knocking at the door.”
“From now on, I’ll always be fucking locked my door,” said Aimee Nichols, the British woman behind the @Singlemamaofficial TikTok account. In one of her videos, she talks about an order she placed with supermarket chain Morrisons that was to be delivered to her home via delivery service UberEats.
“At UberEats, they should talk to some of their couriers,” the woman said. “Because you receive updates about the time of delivery via the app, I knew the delivery person had arrived. I was upstairs at the time and went down the stairs to let him in. But at that moment I saw how he was already letting himself in. He just came in, without ringing or knocking. He just opened the door and walked in. When I asked him what he was doing, he simply replied, “Oh yes, delivery.”
Normally Nichols always keeps her front door locked, she explains. “But that wasn’t the case for a while because my father had just brought my daughter Harper home from school. From now on, I always fucking lock my door.”
The video has been viewed more than 323,000 times and has received tens of thousands of likes.
