The game console would be on the market in the spring of 2019, reports the news site dedicated to Microsoft Thurrott.
It is also a cheaper version. Thurrott expects the new Xbox to cost 155 pounds or less.
The release of the Xbox is combined with a program from Microsoft that allows users to convert their CDs with games into a digital version.
Users have to go to a store to exchange their CDs.
Another Xbox, which according to Thurrott is part of a product line with the name Scarlett,
according to the news in 2020. Whether this Xbox gets a CD tray is unclear.
